Anartia amathea are the next species we are studying in the longevity study, but we aren’t marking them. We decided that they all came out close enough to the same day that we are going to have a bit of wiggle room in the study and have more approximate measures of their longevity. So we are just counting how many we release into the butterfly house each day, but not putting any sort of marking on them. They are so small that we worried about injuring them in trying to mark their wings.
