Ready for a nerdy question?
ReplyDeleteI feel weird about the plural of chrysalis as I know it.
It's "chrysalises" or "chrysalides," right? For the latter, I hear people pronounce it KRIS-uh-lids and I'm not happy with this pronunciation.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/chrysalides has the word pronounced kris-AL-uh-deez which is definitely more fun to say.
Can somebody be the authority on this please?
