In preparation for the reopening of our Tropical Butterfly House next Saturday, October 5th, we have received a nice shipment of pupae from Suriname.

The butterfly in the photo is actually an Agrualis vanillae, a species that is on our permit but we have never before received from Suriname. This week, they were a surprise addition to the shipment and we got fifteen of them, most of which are already flying around the butterfly house!
